My Deviant Art Story

I joined about three years ago and I was pretty much a newbie artist. I was always told that my art was pretty good and my friends from school would always request something, but my art was always compared to my friend who could draw better than me. So I joined Deviant Art to see if I could get actually opinions on my art, not just something that wouldn't hurt my feelings. 

Well, that didn't go very well, because I never got a lot of views and it always seemed like I was hidden in the Deviant Art Community. After I gave up drawing in 2012, I decided to work with MMD (MikuMikuDance) and I started to collect models and backgrounds that were amazing. And soon enough I came up with the Sim Date that actually got me views, and comments. Now that I look back on it I'm flooded with comments saying how I should continue it. 

I also thought my art was good enough to make a comic... But now that I look back at it, I can barely remember where that confidence came from. But I still kept going. Now I just focus on art that I make from Paint Tool Sai, and I get a lot of support from friends, and fellow artists~ They really helped me improve with their advice and experience, and I'm really happy that I've met these people and I wouldn't change anything in the world~
